funny story

I went poopy on the potty! So, I know that I am only 8 months old, and that it seems weird that my mom would even try this maneuver, so just listen to this funny story, told from MY point of view. Thanks for listening! Love, Mari.....oh, and by the way. . . . I learned how to crawl over the last couple of days. Just a few short scoots here and there, but I am pretty excited about it.  AND, I just figured out how to yell real loud. It's fun. Me and Daddy scream back and forth when we are being silly, especially at dinner time.  . . . back to the funny story . . .
The other night my mommy was getting my bath running and ready to go. I like to be naked while she does that, so mommy changed me out of my clothes and diaper and set me on the floor to play with a few bath toys. Mommy was talking to me and said something to me like, "Uh oh- do you have to go pee pee Mari?! Don't go on the floor!" So then Mommy picked me up and put me in the bathtub, but I had a surprise for her. I didn't have to go pee pee, I had to make a poopy!
That's where the funny part happened. Mommy must have figured out that I had to go poopy because she looked at my face (I was doing my typical pooping expression) and she panicked and screamed, "Uh oh!" again. Then she scooped me out of the bathtub and quickly set me on Myah's potty seat on top of the toilet! It was really fun to play with the toilet paper roll, it keeps going and going if you pull on it!

 Anyways, I sat down on the potty seat for a minute and then heard a funny "plop plop plop" sound. Mommy started laughing and opened the bathroom door and screamed "DADDY! MYAH! COME HERE! QUICK-BRING THE CAMERA!" Then Daddy and Myah came in the bathroom and saw me and started laughing, so I smiled and cooed at them. When Mommy looked into the potty she saw that I went poopy and she said it was a really good one. Then she took my picture to remember the funny story. She even made Daddy take a picture of my poopy because she said no one would believe that I went on the potty. We decided not to share that picture though. We've all had a tough last month or so--very busy and lots of sickness and I can't seem to get my top two teeth to come in all the way. They really hurt me lately when I try to go to sleep at night. I also am getting over a really nasty double ear infection that won't go away. It also hurts at night and makes me want to just cuddle with mommy in her bed all night...... I think she likes cuddling me so I call for her around 3 am......
