What a Weekend...

Myah picked out the biggest face painting offered!! And....RAINBOW hair!

 

 

 

We had such a fun filled weekend! It started out with my cousin's wedding on Friday night, and Mari was a champ- she slept or was happy the whole time. We got a babysitter so we could let Myah have fun at home, and so we could enjoy the wedding without chasing her around. Then we had an awesome Saturday morning at Maple Grove fest, where Myah enjoyed a ton of free events! A petting zoo, funky hair, face painting, popcorn, carnival type games....etc.

I was surprised Myah sat as well as she did for the hair and face painting, considering she's such a "wiggle worm".  She loved the baby animals too. However, I think her favorite part was dancing with the other kids to the DJ. "Tonight's gonna be a good night" was the song she's dancing to here:

Mari enjoyed the festivities from the Baby Bjorn, so I don't have any pictures of her here. Mari update: still rolling over when we put her on her tummy, and she's alert and seeing from quite a distance these days. She smiled at me from across the room yesterday when she saw me coming. She's also really interested in things hanging down that she can bat at, especially her bouncy chair. We finally finished her room this weekend, although I still haven't taken any pictures.

The girls are getting along well these days and starting to really enjoy each other. :) This makes mommy happy....
