Last weekend we encountered yet another "first"- thanks to Myah (the thumb sucker who touches everything), lots of visits last week and being out and about, Mariana has officially caught her first cold! Booooo. Naps have been touch and go, and feedings every 2 hours or so since our little sweetie has a stuffed up nose (and probably the scratchy throat that Phil and I have!) Unfortunately, this has also meant a regression on the night sleep front. We're back to 5 hours or so and then another 2-3. Not terrible, but after tasting the sweet taste of a full night's sleep, 5 hours feels crummy. Regardless of the cold and everyone not feeling well, we all had a nice time at the cabin this weekend. Myah really loved fishing for sunnies, watching "grumpy's" fireworks, rock-hunting for grammy, and exploring the outdoors with daddy! Hopefully next time the traffic will be better and everyone will feel up to being outside more often, including Mariana.

Even though she hasn't been sleeping well and has congestion, Mariana continues to be a happy little sweetheart. Lots of cooing and smiling this week, especially at mommy.
