Too much amniotic fluid. this baby can't seem to find it's way down to it's special spot because it has far too much water to float around in. The midwife couldn't strip the membranes since the head is up so high, so that leaves induction as the only option if this keeps going. Last two weeks I was 2 cm, this week, slightly over one or so. What a disappointment this week has been. I seriously have done everything in my power to help this baby (and I mean EVERYTHING). Sigh. So for now, I just wait and hope that this water breaks on it's own and doesn't pull the cord down underneath baby's head first.
