The countdown is ON!

Had our 37+ midwife appt today and got good news! There is progress- well "a bit more than 1 cm dilated", and uterus measuring at 40cm. While I know this probably means nothing, since you can walk around dilated that far for what seems like FOREVER, I am, for today, pleased that there is progress! Yoga tonight was the most uncomfortable experience, yet I know it was worth it. Hopefully all of the pelvic floor strengthening and "hip openers" we completed tonight will do me good in labor! We're hoping for as natural a birthing experience as possible, which may include a water birth. We'll keep everyone updated as this day approaches. Can't wait to meet Tacos.... I thought this profile picture was kind of cool-shows how crazy and amazing the human body is to allow for such a big belly on such a small frame!
